Portola Valey, CA
This project encompassed demolition & removal of horse stables & barns in Portola Valley, CA. Large trees were also cut (including the stumps) and the large branches & trunks were cut & split into firewood. The smaller branches were chipped into wood chips and spread for landscape/ground cover & mulch (as were the stump grindings). All demolished materials were was reused and nothing was disposed of.
Los Altos, CA (pt.2)
After completely deconstructing a 2000sf., 2 story Home In Los Altos, CA and all the fixtures, building materials, and salvageable lumber were donated to a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the concrete foundation was demolished then transported to a recycling plant where it was crushed into reusable, recycled base rock. Then all of the unusable lumber was de-nailed, chipped and reused as ground cover throughout the site which help the owner to reach his “LEAD” requirements.
By using MAVCO Deconstruction and donating all the fixtures, building materials & reusable lumber to our affiliated non-profit organization, the homeowner received a tax deductible donation receipt (for his donation) with the value in excess of $125,000.00 and received reduced & waived permit fees which saved the homeowner a significant amount of money.

Walnut Creek, CA
This project involved the complete deconstruction of a fire-damaged apartment building located in Walnut Creek, California. This was an 18,000 square foot, 3 story building that contained asbestos in the roof and was completely deconstructed and loaded by hand. The project was a joint effort with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, our affiliated Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor, A National Insurance Company, and a National General Contractor. Time was of the essence therefore the entire building was deconstructed, removed and the site was cleaned within 2 weeks (ahead of schedule).
Palo Alto
This Project was a pool demolition job located in Palo Alto, California. The entire pool was demolished then all of the gunite (concrete) was removed and sent to a recycling facility in Redwood City, CA. The concrete was then crushed and reused as recycled baserock. The rebar (metal rod) was removed and shipped to a recycling facility in Redwood City, CA.
Lafayette
